Add some greens to your home with Seedlinders, a creation by Singapore’s Nanyang Polytechnic Industrial Design student Dion Ong Sue Ling. Equipped with a smart phone application, moisture and photosensitive detector, Seedlinders help monitor and alert the user of the plant’s health status.

The container of Seedlinders was 3D printed with Siege and assembled to form the complete product. Dion 3D printed in white PLA filament at 200 microns to create the exact shape and design that she wanted, before post processing it into the final product.

3D printing allowed for the shape of the planter to be compact yet stylish to add to the aesthetics of the home. With 3D printing, we can now create countless styles of containers to hold plants and add greenery to our homes!
