On the weekends and holidays, you can see people enjoying a barbecue at East Coast Park or other BBQ sites around Singapore. Bennex Ling of Singapore’s Temasek Polytechnic’s Product and Industrial Design course created his 3D printed Teeba, an autonomous BBQ supply service.

Teeba aims to serve as an assistant to the users at the BBQ pits by delivering BBQ supplies on demand and also take on requests from users. ‘Party packs’ and supplies can be delivered throughout the night and a separate version will be available for collecting the trash at the end of the BBQ.

With a design as novel as his and with the shape customised for this specific purpose, Bennex chose to 3D print with us parts of Teeba. He 3D printed in white PLA filament material at 200 microns and later assembled it to create Teeba. With 3D printing, the size and shape of the robot can be customised to optimise the supply service.

BBQ is a fun and relaxing activity to do with your family and friends, with a 3D printed automated supply service, BBQs can be even more enjoyable now!
